Throughout history, humans have always changed things. They didn't like something and brought something new in its place. Karapınar and its surroundings also got their share of this. Underground world creatures such as moles, ants, mice, snakes, etc., were removed one by one because they were seen as "unproductive". The barren land with salty soil and the steppe vegetation simply dismissed as "scrub" were removed with good intentions. And in their place, entirely new ecosystems, unrelated to the region, were introduced. Here we see the map of these changing ecosystem examples.
